At St Polycarp's we believe that our children achieve best academically and socially with maximum attendance. We encourage all families to ensure that their children can attend school every day, when they are well enough to do so. Children's attendance is monitored carefully and parents are supported in a wide range of ways to help with their attendance.

We listen, empathise and support, but do not tolerate a lack of attendance at school.

If your child is ill and cannot attend school, please call 01252 716307, select option 1, and leave a message with the following details:

Child's name, class, reason for absence, and name of person reporting the absence.

If your child is not well enough to return to school the next day, then please call again and repeat the message.
